"We are Furnish Green, a furniture rescue and recycle showroom for designers and for people that like cool stuff.

There are many ways to be green about furniture but we believe that re-cylcing, re-purposing and re-using furniture that already exists, is the best way to furnish your home.

Much of the pre-1970 mass produced furniture was extremely well made.... The added value is that by buying a piece of vintage or antique furniture it should have better resale value should you decide to set it back out into the universe someday.

We clean the piece the best we can as older furniture has a tendency to accumulate dirt and dust as well. We try to sell pieces for their functional value, never for a collectable or antique value.

Some of the pieces we buy, some we rescue and some pieces are donated to us. Keep in mind that much of the cost for us is in the fixing, the transporting and housing it in our showroom until it's sold.

We are happy when items are sold and being used - so if you see that we've had a piece for a long time feel free to make us an offer.
